Are you in the neighborhood of Gonguan and want a place to sit and eat? Do you want local and authentic vegetarian and vegan food? Then, Everybody Vegetarian is a good option!

The restaurant is small and can be a bit tricky to find, especially since it doesn't show on Google Maps. If you're not already in the area, take the Xindian Green Line to Gonguan Station and choose exit number 1. A McDonald's will appear right away on your right side, and walk down the narrow alley past it. Everybody Vegetarian will now be immediately on your left side, with a big yellow sign.

They have pictures of the different dishes on the wall in front of the cashier, so you can just point on what you want without needing to know any Chinese. Everything is vegetarian so you don’t need to worry about that. The cashier will ask you if you want to eat there or take away, the inside is pretty small but cosy to sit and eat. We got the food very quickly after ordering it.

We had the combo boiled rice and the miso noodles. The miso noodles were very good, when I’ve had similar dishes in other places the soup didn’t taste so much, but here it had very rich flavor which I personally really liked. It was tasty but was not very filling, so I would recommend miso noodles with for example dumplings, which also cost NTD $60. We also ordered combo boiled rice, a plate filled with rice, vegetables and vegetarian mock meat. It cost NTD $70 and kept me very full.
