The Tamsui River creates the border between Taipei and New Taipei City. Besides the river lies a long road and small areas covered in grass where you can settle down and have a picnic. It is a very chill place where many people come to relax and enjoy their free time. There are a few open basketball courts and playgrounds for the old and young to have fun.

You can also find some food stalls and lots of benches along the way. The road by the water is perfect for a long walk or bike ride with your friends. If you don't have a bike just rent a U-bike with your easy card and enjoy a nice day by the water!
