Next to the Fine Arts Park and nestled between several outdoor bars and restaurants lies Triangle, a popular club mostly among foreigners. From Beimen WOW it's a five minute ride on the Red Line from Zhongshan to Yuanshan, or a half an hour walk north. The club is open from 8pm to 2am on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 10pm to 4am. We highly recommend to check their Facebook page for the latest event and specials.
Every Wednesday they have students/ladies night, which means that it’s free entry for students and ladies all night, and free select drinks for ladies until midnight. When we went there the free drink was “vodka juice”, which was either orange or cranberry juice with vodka. The bartender that was there was very generous with the vodka, more than a third of the glass was vodka.
To be able to enter the club you need a passport, if you are a foreigner - a regular ID is not enough. The club has lockers where you can put your belongings, the locker costs NTD $50. Since the club is so small, there are no toilets inside the club but outside very close there is a section with many toilets (western-style) so you don’t have to wait.
The club is small and cosy, and has graffiti on the walls which makes it feel more unique and personal, and gives a more homey feeling. However, it was very empty when we were there, probably because of the coronavirus. We were mostly six people there in total, sometimes a few more and sometimes even less. Even around 01:30 am when we decided to leave it was still that empty. So during that night it didn’t really feel like a club, but it would probably be much better in another time when more people are there.
