Taipei Main Station itself is just a quick walk from the hostel. Go to 7/11, cross the street to your left and enter the small street with the small restaurants. Walk through and turn right at the corner of the construction site. Walk straight ahead and cross over the pedestrian bridge and you will see Taipei Main Station.

Check out the impressive building Taipei Main Station with its underground mall. Or walk around the streets which are much more interesting and will give you the big city feeling that you think of when being in such a metropole. Check out the impressive Shin Kong Life Tower and its stores or just walk through the streets towards 2/28 Peace Park and visit the National Taiwan Museum.
